Olive Soap – an Ancient Recipe

Out of stock

The Olive Soap is an ancient recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. The manufacturing site (Achinos village, near Thessaloniki) is full of endless olive orchards famous for their high-value oil, excellent olives, and very good wines – and it’s all thanks to their fertile soil. Only exclusively pressed olive oil from their own orchard (70%) is used to produce this soap together with cold and mineral rich spring water (21%) obtained from water gushing from the rocks by the Church of the St. Dimitra which dates from 1846 and sodium hydroxide (9%). It is all organically made and does not contain any fragrances or artificial colouring. Plus, the soap has a delicate olive scent and, as befits a true olive soap, while washing does not produce large quantities of foam. The soaps are handmade, produced for generations in a traditional Greek family.
